As a CityServe member church, we are able to participate in many service opportunities throughout the Tri-Valley

Open Heart Kitchen

www.openheartkitchen.org Open Heart Kitchen has been providing fresh hot meals to anyone in need since 1995. They rotate locations throughout the week to serve the entire Tri-Valley: Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore. All are welcome!

Faith In Action CGCC regularly schedules F.I.A. events which enable our congregation to meet the tangible needs of our community. We serve Livermore schools, area churches, seniors and a variety of other projects that share the love of Christ locally.

faith in ACTION Weekend

The Livermore Homeless Refuge www.livermorehomlessrefuge.org

LHR was created to provide a warm, safe, clean environment for individual homeless people to stay overnight. It uses faith based communities as its base to house this segment of our society. These faith based communities allow us to provide this service to the homeless at a minimal cost. It does not segregate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion or lack of religion. Cedar Grove provides staffing for this vital ministry.

Livermore Pregnancy Resource Center

www.livermoreprc.org LPRC is dedicated to providing caring Christian counsel for individuals and couples in the midst of crisis due to an unplanned pregnancy. Through the leadership of Tina Harrell, a team of volunteers provides supportive, practical parenting training and spiritual care.

Shepherds Gate

www.shepherdsgate.org Shepherd’s Gate has earned a reputation for rebuilding shattered lives. Since 1984, they have provided Christ-centered services and housing to over 10,000 battered and homeless women and children. They provide a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.

Valley Pregnancy Center

www.valleypregnancycenter.org The Valley Pregnancy Center (VPC) is a nonprofit organization offering free counseling and compassionate support to women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. By providing a safe and caring environment, the VPC is here to assist women who may not be aware of all their options. As a state licensed medical facility, we offer accurate information and support services that allow one to make an informed decision providing services for the entire family.
