As a parent you are always taking care of your child! But this time, do something out of the ordinary, like one of their chores, and tell them you wanted to do it to meet their need. Leave a note with the task you completed telling them you love caring for them!

While on your drive, ask your preteen if they have ever had the opportunity to share the good news about Jesus. If they haven’t, maybe tell them about a time someone shared it with you or you with someone else. Encourage them by saying that they don’t always have to use words to share the good news, they can use their actions! Be a good friend, let others go first, find a way to serve. All those things show the love of Jesus.
