4. A disciples’ storm. and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. Luke 8:23

It is calmed. And they went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm. Luke 8:24

Jesus Reveals His Power The Amazing story of Jesus and: 1. A centurion’s slave. Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. Luke 7:2-3

He is healed. And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well. Luke 7:10

2. A mother’s son. As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. Luke 7:12

He is raised. Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. Luke 7:14-15

3. A woman’s sin. And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. Luke 7:37-38

5. A demoniac’s sanity. When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs. Luke 8:27

He is restored. They people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. Luke 8:35

6. A desperate woman’s search. And there was a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. Luke 8:43

She is satisfied. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.” Luke 8:48

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Ephesians 3:20 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12

She is forgiven. “Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven – for she loved much.
