JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Associate Campus Minister/Pastor (if ordained) Reports to: Campus Pastor Supervises: Campus Serve Staff Purpose To develop into a Campus Pastor or Church Planter by co-laboring with the Campus Pastor in creating an environment for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ Required Education and Experience • 3-5 years of ministry leadership experience including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas • Bachelor’s degree required Required Competencies and Skills • Demonstrated ability to support organizational relationships (internal and external) • Proven track record of effective judgment and above-reproach character • Demonstrated ability to shepherd and equip serve staff and congregants • Excellent written and oral communication skills Key Responsibilities • Under the leadership and development of the Campus Pastor, actively prepare to serve as a Campus Pastor and/or Church Planter in 12-24 months. • Support the Campus Pastor, in his absence and as needed, in pastoral moments, benedictions, spiritual formation events, and other teaching opportunities • Lead in the recruitment, development, and care of campus serve staff teams • Oversee, during weekend services, any Serve Staff team without a paid staff leader on campus • Partner with central staff to identify and address campus execution and operations issues • Partner with the Campus Pastor and the Care Team to intentional care for those at the campus. • Other duties as directed by the Campus Pastor Measurements of Success • Key campus health metrics and measures • Modeling of the Church of Eleven22’s vision and core values • Individual Mission and Morale
