A Note from Pastor Phillips: Thank you for coming to worship with us today. If you are a first -time visitor, I would sure like the opportunity to meet you and welcome you personally. Because I believe in a Sovereign God, I don’t believe anything happens by chance. I believe you were brought here for a purpose. I would love to help you discover that purpose, and to see if there is any way we as a church can bless and minister to you and your family. Please stop by the Resource Center after the service so I can shake your hand. I’d sure count it a privilege. Pastor Harold

Thank you for joining us today for worship. Your presence was a blessing.

CHRISTIAN OUTDOOR MINISTRY COMMITTEE MEETING: There will be a meeting for this committee Tuesday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. DEAR PLEASANT VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH: Words cannot adequately express how appreciative I’ve been for all your prayers, support and donations towards my mission trip to Ecuador. While God called me to the mission field years ago, this was my first actual mission experience, and it couldn’t have been more phenomenal. Through falling in love with the jungle babies at Casa de Fe, shoveling piles upon piles of rock and sand, and various hours of cleaning and scrubbing, Ecuador has absolutely won my heart. I assure you all that God is doing marvelous things through both Casa de Fe and Katie and Chet Williams. Your support has made all the difference, and I’m so grateful to be a part of such an amazing church family. Thank you. God bless all, Alexis Brewer MEN’S SOFTBALL: PVBC Men’s Softball Team will soon be practicing Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. Games will begin before we know it! If you are interested in playing on the men’s team, see Chad Phillips. If you don’t play, but want LOTS of entertainment, come watch ‘em . . . play ball! LADIES SOFTBALL: PVBC Ladies will soon be practicing on Monday nights @ 5:30 pm at PVBC. Please contact Cyndy Bolado with any questions at 443-907-3661. Sign up on the bulletin board if you wish to play. COUNTY EXECUTIVE FORUM: We will hold a public forum this Thursday, March 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. here at the church. We are inviting the candidates running for County Executive to field questions and present their views on issues concerning Cecil County. The policies and decisions made by the County Executive will impact us more than any other position in the county. Please spread the word and invite other voters to attend, so that we all may make an informed decision on voting day.

CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED: We need donations of individually wrapped candies (like Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, etc.) to be distributed from our puppet float in the Little League Parade, Saturday, April 16. Please put donations in the coat closet with Pastor Mike Gentry’s name on them. Thank you! Helpers Needed Harold Phillips, Michael Gilbert, Neil Gniazdowski, Dan Miller, Josh Phillips, Paul Mills . . . We have dynamic, strong male leaders in our church. Do you know why? Because, at some point in their childhood, someone invested in the lives of these men while they were still boys. We have a group of boys attending here each Wednesday evening who NEED more people who are willing to invest in their lives -- who are willing to help shape the men of God their generation will need them to be. Are YOU that someone? Please consider joining our Wednesday night team to shape these future men! If you are interested, please call the church office.

ISRAEL TRIP MEETING Pastor will be holding a meeting Sunday, April 10 at 5 p.m. in room 112 for anyone interested in traveling to Israel in October of this year. Brochures are available in the lobby.
