Meet in the volunteer room for prayers and announcements. 15 minutes before the service: ROOMS OPEN 5 minutes before the hour: CLEAN-­UP On the hour: ANNOUNCEMMETS 5 minutes after the hour: LARGE GROUP 40 minutes after the hour: VIDEO & BIBLE VERSE 50 minutes after the hour: SMALL GROUPS

  • •   Don’t  wait  for  someone  else  to   help  people  in  need.  

I  should  treat  others  the  way  I   want  to  be  treated.  

PRAYERS:  Ask  kids  if  anyone  has  a  prayer  request.     Pray  for  your  group  together.   BIBLE   V ERSE:  Practice  the  Bible  verses  (see  Bible   Verses  card)  and  reward  with  two  coins  for  each  verse   the  kids  say.   PLEASE,  READ   T HE   S TORY   S UMMARY   (yellow   page):  Ask  the  discussion  questions  and  reward  their   answers  with  coins.   ACTIVITY   T IME:  Bags  for  the  poor  &  the  card   PRAY   A ND   D ISMISS:   “Nehemiah  took  initiative.  He   didn’t  wait  for  someone  else  to  take  care  of  the   people  who  came  to  him  for  help.  We  can  do  the   same  thing.  We  can  be  ready  to  help  when  someone   needs  a  hand.  “Don’t  wait  for  someone  else  to  help   people  in  need.    PRAY:  “God,  please  help  us  show   initiative  like  Nehemiah  did.  I  pray  that  we  would   always  be  looking  for  ways  to  help  people  in  need.  I   pray  that  we  would  WANT  to  be  the  ones  to  help.   Help  us  to  love  other  people  like  You  love  us,  so  we   can  help  the  people  around  us  who  need  a  hand.  We   love  You,  and  we  pray  in  Jesus’  name,  amen.”
