Obituaries { Bedford County } BAILEY, MARY L. “BOOTS” - 84, Normandy, TN. Funeral service, 11 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Bethany Cemetery. Mrs. Bailey passed away June 27, 2016. A native of Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late William Sherman and Radie Gordon Ferrell Tyler. Mrs. Bailey attended Robert’s Chapel Baptist Church. She was a ball sewer for Lannom’s and later babysat children or sat with the elderly. She enjoyed watching birds, squirrels and groundhogs in her yard. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Bailey; son, James Robert Bailey; brother, John Henry Tyler; and sister, Jennie Mae Matthews. Survivors include sons, John Thomas Bailey and wife, Janice of Arlington, TX and Ralph Donald Bailey and wife, Metzi of Normandy; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
