4th GRADE: IMPORTANT DATES

Opening & Final Days Sunday Program: Sunday, September 23rd at 9:30 a.m. & Sunday, May 12th at 11:30 a.m. Weekday Program: Monday, September 24th at 4:00 p.m. & Monday, May 13th at 5:00 p.m. We invite all parents to join us at the beginning of the school day for our opening assembly in the sanctuary. The Religious School Committee invites you to stay for coffee and snacks after the assembly.

Holiday & Shabbat Experiences: Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Shabbat Sukkot: Sunday, September 30th at 11:30 a.m. OR Wednesday, October 3rd at 5:00 p.m. Religious School will begin at the normal time for all students. Parents are invited to join the students in the classroom for a Sukkah learning and decorating event.

Simchat Torah: Sunday, October 7th at 6:00 p.m. Holiday celebration with dancing in the streets! New students will be called to the bimah to receive a special blessing.

Shabbat Experiences: Saturdays, 11/17, 4/20 at 10:00 a.m. Attending a Shabbat Experience can be used in lieu of a Religious School class.

3rd& 4th Grade Shabbat Sleepover: Friday, October 19th-20th & Friday, January 11th-12th Join us for a Shabbat experience and sleepover at the synagogue. In the morning we will volunteer at EFP.

Family Educational Program Sunday Program: Sunday, February 3rd at 11:30 a.m. Weekday Program: Monday, February 4th at 5:00 p.m. Parents are invited to join the students in the classroom for an educational and interactive program.

Save the Date Erev Shavuot & 12th Grade Graduation: Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00 p.m. We invite our entire community to Shavuot services. This holiday recognizes receiving the Torah and accomplishments in our community. Our SWFS community honors the students graduating from High School as they begin their Jewish journey in college. Please Note: Schedules and times are subject to change. Reminders will be sent to families before each event.
