discussion questions 1. As a group, think up 7 examples of how tools could be used for something they weren’t designed for (for example, using a butter knife as a screwdriver). 2. Read 1 Peter 4:10–11, Romans 12:3–8 and 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, 27–31. Is there one of these spiritual gifts listed that you resonate with? What would it look like for this gift to be manifested in your daily work? 3. Have you ever had a job that you didn’t have a passion for? You took it so you could pay the bills? In what ways could you apply the principles of this message in that context? 4. New Hope Church has a vision to be a “Christ-centered community for all people.” What are ways that you as an individual or as a group could contribute to this corporate passion? 5. Affirm someone in your group in relation to a spiritual gift, skill or passion that you see them using. Pray for God to continue to use that gift through them for the blessing of others.
