HANDS-ON, PROJECT-BASED STEM CURRICULUM
Building STEM literacy at the secondary level
Pitsco Education’s STEM continuum at the secondary level builds and enhances STEM literacy using projectbased, student-directed curriculum. Incorporating essential skills such as cooperative learning and creative problem solving, our curriculum for secondary learners provides core-content solutions in math, algebra, and science written to address state and national standards. Web-based instruction, an interactive learning environment, formative and summative assessments, and daily hands-on projects enable students to apply new knowledge of key STEM concepts using real-world work processes. Students become STEM literate while developing and strengthening critical 21st-century skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking.
