We Know … It’s A Big Place. Asbury is a big church, and sometimes it can be hard to navigate and meet new people. But don’t worry. We’ve started a five-step Discipleship Pathway to make it easy to get connected at Asbury. The first two steps, the Welcome Brunch and Disciple Orientation, are specifically designed to help people (like you!) get started in the program and connected with others in the church. Ask about them at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby after church.

Serve on Sundays Worship is vital to the body of Christ, and Asbury couldn’t do it without the generous hearts of all the volunteers who serve every Sunday. It takes an army to be able to open the doors on Sunday morning and hold worship for so many members and guests. Serving others is a key part of following Jesus. When we serve, we are able to influence others. If you would like to grow in your relationship with Jesus, one way you can do that is by serving. Asbury has many opportunities to get started and you can serve as little as two Sundays a month. Below are Asbury’s critical serving needs: AsburyKids Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Volunteers at 11 am - Serving kindergarten through 2nd graders by playing with them, assisting with a lesson and craft provided, and getting to know them by leading a small group time. 3rd-5th Grade Volunteers at 11 am - Serving 3rd – 5th graders by playing with them, assisting with a lesson and craft provided, and getting to know them by leading a small group time. Hospitality 11 am Hosts - Personally greet guests as they walk through the Sanctuary doors and make them feel welcome. Hosts will also hand out bulletins and collect offering.
11 am Greeters - Warmly welcome every person as they enter the doors of Asbury.
Media Media Volunteer - Run screen lyrics, operate cameras and move items on and off stage. Communion for Lenten Season Communion Servers: For the six Sundays of Lent, we will celebrate communion in all services. We are recruiting communion servers for the 9:15 and 11 am services.

Asbury’s Boy Scout Foundation and Troop 10 invite you:
Boy Scout Spaghetti Lunch February 19, 11 am-2 pm, in the CLC
• Enjoy spaghetti with bread sticks, or chili and crackers, salad, and a yummy dessert with your family and friends. • $6 per person or $24 per family of 4 or more. • Tickets on sale today in south foyer or at the door the day of the event. • All proceeds benefit Asbury’s Boy Scouts.
We need your help. Our goal is to raise $150,000 for2017 Spring Break Missions. Use the orange envelope in the pew to drop your donations in the offering, bring them to the main church office or mail to Asbury. Designate “missions’ stock campaign” o n all gifts.
KIDS’ NIGHT OUT
Because sometimes parents and guardians need connection time and a break! 2+ hours of free, fun, and themed child care activities for your kids, including cooking, animals, puppets, sports, bingo, arts and crafts and more. To register, email
