The Conversation Guide is a great tool for individuals, families, discipleship groups and Missional Communities to take a deeper, more personal dive into the content of the current sermon series. The Conversation Guide will be posted every Friday in the News & Blog section of our website. We encourage you to use it this week on your own, around your dinner tables, over coffee with your friends or in your Bible studies! *QUESTIONS FOR KIDS! Questions most suitable for children are marked with an asterisk.

Conversation Questions 1. *Could you share about someone that has loved you in a life-changing way? What did they do that made the biggest impact?

2. *Read 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. What verse, phrase or words stand out to you most? Why?

3. What are some things that the Corinthians were being tempted to boast in, rather than loving one another (v.1-3)? Why do you think they were so drawn to these, rather than being drawn to love? What are some things that we are tempted to value above actually loving people? 4. In verses 4-7 which of these attributes of love is most important to you? Why? Which is hardest for you?

5. Are there any attributes of love in verses 4-13 that you don’t understand? Would you share those questions with the group for discussion?

6. Paul says, “Love never ends” (v.8). Then he goes on to talk about a time in the future when “the perfect comes.” He is referring to the return of Jesus and the redemption of all things.

In your own words, what is Paul teaching about the redemption of the world and love in verse 12?

As you’ve been reading and discussing is there anyone that you know you have not been loving as Christ loves you? Take some time to thank God for his incredible love and ask for his help to love that person this week.
