Central Baptist Church Deepening in love for Jesus; Overflowing in love for neighbor

“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” -Acts 17:27-28 (NLT)

HIGHLIGHTS more info at centralbaptistchurch.com/events Kick Off Sunday, September 13th Next Sunday is our Kickoff Sunday. We will start the day with an all-church Sunday School at 9:15 in the lobby. That will be followed by our church service and the start of our new “City Life” sermon series. Following the worship service will be our annual block party with Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Shields Street. Join for fun, games, music and good food!

Volunteer to work with Central’s kids We need volunteers for our children’s ministry (infant-5th grade). We are starting new programming on Sundays and Wednesdays, with both monthly and weekly volunteers needed. See the insert in your bulletin for more information.

Refresh/Vision Night, 6 pm, September 20th

Meet at Central at 6 pm for a time of worship and vision for our church. In addition to the time of worship, there will be a very important business meeting where we will talk about the upcoming budget and discuss the vision for the church for the next year and beyond. All are welcome.

WELCOME

9.6.2015

We are glad you are here with us this morning! Central exists to call people into a deepening love for Jesus Christ that overflows into love for neighbor. We do this with love and intentionality as we call people into a relationship with God. Through this deepening relationship we are transformed individually and communally as we express that love in ministering to our neighborhoods. Want to know more?
