WILLOWLAKE 2008 ANNUAL MEETING
The Willowlake Annual meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 23, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Two positions will be up for re-election. Watch your mail for the official notice and proxy! Where does my annual assessment go? All funds go for the maintenance and upkeep of the community such as the entrance and all common areas, street light, electricity, lake maintenance, community insurance, fence maintenance and much more!

DOG WALKING Walking your dog is a great way to exercise for both you and your pet and it’s also an opportunity to get out and enjoy the neighborhood. For those of you who walk your pets, please remember to keep your animal on a leash and to clean up after them. Your neighbors will appreciate your consideration! DEED RESTRICTION ENFORCEMENT SCS Management is contracted to inspect the community for deed restriction violations. Inspections of the community are conducted on a monthly basis
Types of violations that are cited are (but not limited to) as follows:

BICYCLE SAFETY
Bicycle safety is everyone’s responsibility. Both adults and children can and do get hurt every year. Remember that bicyclists have many of the same rights as automobiles and the same responsibilities. For example, did you know that bicyclists are required to follow the same rules as automobiles? They must stop at stop signs, signal when turning and to yield the right-of-way at intersections, etc. Many of our young people and sometimes not-so-young people don’t follow the rules of the road and end up in an automobile accident. Please parents teach your young people to follow the rules of the road for their safety and enjoyment. Be sure to also require the use of helmets when riding their bikes. Over half the bike accidents result in head injuries.

Billing of the 2009 assessments is just around the corner! As a reminder if you are unable pay your assessment in full by the due date of January 1st, please contact SCS Management Services and set up installment arrangements. The installment plan does not stop the late penalty in February but it does stop any further collection proceedings. Charge for a four (4) month installment plan is $15.00. You may also, prior to January 1st and at no additional cost, make payments toward your next year’s assessment giving you a head start in paying off the balance.

Trash Recycling
Recycling is a service offered to the community at no charge by Royal Disposal. Pick up days are the first and Third Fridays of each month. If for any reason your recycling is missed please just put it back until the next recycling day. Royal Disposal makes every effort to pick up the recycling but may at times, due to cost constraints, miss a pick up day. Thank you for your cooperation and patience in this matter!
