Programmable Thermostat

- The heating system must be turned off before the thermostat can be installed. Energy Technicians cannot enter attics or crawlspaces to turn off heating equipment.

- Door weather-stripping can be installed only on standard wood-framed, singleswing doors. - French doors, sliding glass doors, and doors with metal framing are NOT eligible.

- The Energy Technician will decide if a water heater blanket is needed and can be easily installed. Not all water heaters need a blanket. - Energy Technicians will not enter any attic space or crawlspace. Only easily accessible water heaters located in a mechanical room/closet on a main living floor are eligible.
