weekly focus: missionary christmas

congregational care

Calvary Church is a church that cares – for each other, for those among us who are suffering, and for the poor and oppressed in our community and around the world. One way we extend that care beyond our walls is by caring intentionally for the Gospel Workers and Missionaries we partner with.

RECENTLY HOSPITALIZED PRAYER LIST If you have been hospitalized, or anticipate hospitalization, and would like to be added to the prayer list, please call the church office at 956-9377.

Intentional, tangible care for our missionaries is something you can be involved in! Throughout the months of September and October, you can give to our annual Missionary Christmas offering. Through your generosity, our missionaries each year receive a love gift with no strings attached to use for whatever they need the most. To donate, indicate Missionary Christmas on your check or on the Giving Envelope and drop it in the offering plate. Thank you for caring – not only that the Gospel goes out, but that those who carry it forward are blessed through their connection with Calvary Church. Missionary Prayer Guides are available at the Chapel Information Center to guide you as you pray for our global and community workers throughout the month of September. A summary of prayer requests is also available on Calvary’s website at http://calvarygr.org/ministries/ missions-outreach/current-missions-prayer-requests. Neighbors International: Friendship Families Needed: Calvary’s international college student ministry is currently looking for Friendship Families for this school year. Friendship Families make deep impacts on the lives of the students they interact with on a regular basis, and the families are also greatly blessed through these relationships. Visit us in the Gathering Place on September 10 and 17, or contact Sonja ([email protected]) at 340-2568 to sign up now.
