The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health is seeking bids to furnish and install an IP Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system at the Department of Public Health North Hollywood site located at 5300 Tujunga Ave., North Hollywood, CA. Vendor shall furnish and install all materials including hardware and software to deliver a complete and fully functional IP based CCTV system. The CCTV system shall include indoor and outdoor fixed cameras, outdoor Pan/Tilt/Zoom dome camera, Network Video Recorder (NVR) with storage, PTZ camera power supply, conduit, and cabling. The NVR shall have video recording, viewing, and management software pre-installed on a dedicated server that is fully configured and ready to operate. The application shall provide a solution for managing multiple locations. The NVR shall be a stand-alone, all-in two rack-mounted server unit with 16TB onboard storage configured for RAID5. 1 lot Installation Vendor shall provide installation labor to furnish, install, configure, program, and deliver a complete and fully functional IP CCTV system including all hardware, software, cabling, conduit, and any other materials whether or not specified to deliver a complete and fully functional IP CCTV system. Jurisdiction (AHJ) at the vendors cost. Work hours shall be both during and after normal business hours. Vendor shall store and be responsible for the equipment during installation. Onsite storage of equipment will not be provided. Vendor shall be responsible for cleaning the work area, removing all trash, and restoring the facility to working order at the end of each work day. Vendor shall furnish and install metal conduit, junction boxes, outlet boxes, camera mounts, and other materials for all cameras and cabling. Cabling shall not be exposed. All exterior cabling shall be installed in conduit. The minimum conduit size shall be ¾”. Conduit for interior cameras shall not be visible below the ceiling. Vendor shall install plenum rated cabling above the ceiling. Vendor shall furnish and install J hooks to support the interior cabling. Cabling shall be supported every four (4) feet. Vendor shall paint the exterior conduit to match the color of the building. The County will provide rack space in an existing rack for the NVR. The County will also provide a PoE switch. Contractor shall install patch panels, wire management, and patch panels for connection to the cameras. Vendor shall terminate data cabling on the patch panels. Vendor shall furnish, install, and neatly dress and label patch cables from the patch panel to the NVR and data switch. Vendor shall work with the County IT staff to implement the CCTV system on the County data network. The equipment rack and data switch will be located in the MCR room. Equipment locations shall be determined at the time of the job walk. 1 lot Documentation Vendor shall provide all manufacturer’s installation manuals, user manuals, maintenance manuals, administration manuals, release notes, addendums, license keys, equipment and system configuration settings, all programming configuration and data, all software, and system interconnect drawings, and network drawings. Vendor shall also provide user manuals specific to the system installed detailing the steps and procedures on how to operate the system. Vendor shall provide five (5) copies in hardcopy and five (5) copies in electronic form. 1 lot Technician Training Vendor shall provide 1 day of training, 3 hours per training day with 10 or more participants per day. Training shall include detailed training manuals for each system component for all training participants. Training manuals shall include detailed information on the topics covered in the training classes including system design,

operation, wiring, and troubleshooting. 1 lot End User Training Vendor shall provide 1 day of training, 2 hours per training day with 10 or more participants per day. Training shall include operational procedures camera selection, searching, recording, and exporting video procedures. Training manuals shall include detailed operational procedures of topics discussed during the training session. 1 lot Warranty Vendor shall warranty all labor and materials free from defects for a period of one year from the date that the County accepts the CCTV system as complete and fully functional. Vendor shall correct any defects in materials and workmanship, reprogram, reconfigure, and reintegrate hardware and software components and systems at no additional cost to the County. Vendor shall have a technician onsite within four (4) hours of the County reporting the problem to the vendor. Vendor shall be able to receive and respond to trouble calls during normal business hours. Vendor shall correct the problem and restore fully functional service to the CCTV system within two (2) hours of the vendor’s arriving onsite. If a hardware component has malfunctioned and the vendor does not have the part in stock, Vendor shall replace and reinstall the hardware component the next business day. Vendor shall provide and installed new and unused parts in correcting hardware problems. Vendor shall provide manufacturers support service for all hardware, software, and licenses for a period of one (1) year from the date that the County accepts the CCTV system as complete. Manufacturer shall provide support services to include 8x5 technical phone support, unlimited software/firmware updates and upgrades as they become available from the manufacturer, and next day parts replacement with new and unused parts. All costs shall be incorporated into the onetime cost for the 1 year warranty service. No additional costs to the County will be accepted.
