CULLINANE COLLEGE UNIFORM REGULATIONS Andersons for Men, Victoria Avenue, Wanganui (Ph: 3455220) stocks our College Uniform as indicated below: GIRLS Skirt Andersons Shirt – Junior School Years 9 - 11 Shirt – Senior School Years 12- 13 Socks - summer Stockings, Tights, Kneehighs sandals. BOYS Shorts Trousers Shirt – Junior School Years 9 - 11 Shirt – Senior School Years 12- 13 Vest – Senior School Only Socks (Boys)

Jersey Blazer Winter Jacket (Navy) Cullinane Tie Sandals Shoes

Winter Cullinane skirts must be regulation length – midcalf only. Summer Cullinane Grey -must be regulation length – on but not above the knee. Andersons Summer - Polo shirts: White for Juniors. Andersons (Only white t-shirts underneath) Winter - a long sleeved white formal shirt available from any clothing store - (must be worn with school tie) Summer – Polo shirt: Navy for Seniors. Andersons Winter – Blue shirt (must be worn with school tie). Andersons Short white only. NOT to be worn with sandals. Dark navy blue (winter); white ankle (summer). Not to be worn with

Andersons Black Roman type or similar with back strap – NOT flip flops and not to be worn with socks, stockings, tights etc Black leather school regulation type shoes ONLY (No sneakers, black or otherwise, sports shoes etc). Shoes are to be worn with regulation school socks.

*Formal uniform is required for all students in Terms 2 and 3 or when selected to represent the College. That is – tie, shirt, (white for juniors/blue for seniors), jersey, blazer, trousers, shoes, dark socks.

Cullinane College Policy Guidelines for Hair, Uniform and Jewellery Students are expected to wear their uniform in accordance with the regulations set by the Board of Trustees. Students should wear their uniform with respect for themselves and pride in their school. This includes from the time they leave for school and until they arrive home.

Shoes: should be standard black leather lace ups or slip ons. They should not be any sort of branded or unbranded sport or skate shoe whether “school shoe” or “good for school” is written on the box. See the shoe pictures overleaf for details of permitted shoe styles. Summer uniform sandals should be black standard school type and must have a heel strap – they are to be worn without socks and should not have any type of lace that ties up above the ankle. Hair: should be one natural colour. Other colours (such a blue, green, yellow , pink etc which are not natural hair colours) or any multi-colours are not part of uniform regulations at Cullinane College. Jewellery: is not to be worn at school although one pair of sleeper/stud-type earrings is allowed. No other facial piercings are to be worn at all. Make-up: is not to be worn including eyeliner, lip-gloss and nail varnish. Winter uniforms: are to be worn in Terms 4 and 3. Summer uniform must be worn in Term 1 and 4. The following is a comprehensive list of uniform rules and guidelines: Students must wear the school uniform properly and with pride both to and from school. Uniform and hair must be in accordance with the schools uniform policy as displayed in the school Diary.

Student’s hair is to be neat and tidy and must:        

Not be unnaturally coloured – no two tone bright colours Be in or over the eyes Not have ‘rat’s tails’ Not be in a Mohawk style Not have extreme amounts of hair gel Long hair is to be tied back – both boys and girls No ‘Dread-Locks’ –No ‘skin-heads’ No “rats tails” or “mohawk” styles

Uniform/Jewellery       

There will be no face rings/studs One ear stud per ear No bracelets School jackets only unless a plain black or blue jacket No ‘Hoodies’. No jewellery unless a Taonga or religious necklace No gang scarves
