WELCOME TO RIVERSTONE CHURCH! CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Sunday, September 23 at Riverstone Church Dessert – 5:45pm • Meeting – 6:30pm All are encouraged to attend as we prepare for another significant year of ministry for Christ and His kingdom. Childcare will be available for infants through grade 6. The proposed candidates for 2018–2019 are posted on our website.
ABSENTEE VOTING If you are unable to attend the Annual Congregational Meeting, absentee voting for members will take place September 16 and 23 between and after services. Sunday, September 30 at 11:00am If you are new to Riverstone Church we would love to meet you! Join us in an informal setting where you can discover more about our church and get to know us better. We meet in the Woodside Room, and a light brunch is served. Register at www.riverstone.church. Our next Family Dedication will take place on Sunday, October 21. We ask that anyone dedicating a child at Riverstone for the first time attend a class. Dedication Class dates and time: September 30 or October 7 from 10:30–11:00am in the Conference Room. Today, September 16 Today's KidsSafe training will be held in Room 244 during the 11:00am service. Forms and information can be found on our website. Kids Clubs and Choir Registration Clubs begin September 26 for children ages Pre-K through 6th grade and choir begins November 7 for children in 1st–6th grade. Visit www.riverstone.church to register. Today, September 16 Today there is Youth Group from 6:45–8:45pm. Next Sunday, September 23, we will meet at SkyZone in Levittown, PA from 6:00–8:00pm. Register online. Youth Ministries Welcomes Intern Lauren Engle! Lauren Engle is the youth ministry intern for the Fall 2018 semester. She is currently a student at Cairn University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry and a master’s degree in Counseling. She is from a small town in Pennsylvania called Shoemakersville. Her love for spending time with children and teens is what drew her to youth and family ministry. She hopes to integrate ministry and counseling into her future career. A Study of II Timothy Each session runs weekly, and includes 30 minutes of teaching by Pastor John and 60 minutes of break-out discussion in groups led by leaders. Register online. Session dates and times: Tuesdays, October 2–November 27 from 7:00–8:30pm (Men and women) Wednesdays, October 3–November 28 from 9:30am–11:00am (Women only) Attention Construction Workers – Florida Work Project January 19–26, 2019 This is the last week to apply for the Florida Work Project!
