DEAR CAMPER AND PARENT: PLEASE READ this letter thoroughly and discuss the information with your child. The following information is intended to help you prepare for your child’s SeaWorld Camp experience. Your camper is registered for:

Let’s Get Wet Friday - 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Arrival time is: 8:00-8:25 a.m.

ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN For the safety of all campers, please PARK your car in the general parking area and walk with your camper in the morning to the meeting area. Directions to SeaWorld San Antonio are included in this packet. Enclosed you will find a parking pass for the day your child will be at camp. Show the parking attendant at the toll booths your pass and you will not be charged for parking. This pass is only valid for a one-time use during SeaWorld Camp pickup and drop-off times during your camp session. Continue to follow the signs and park by light poles 13 and 14 (Labeled: Dolly). Please walk your child toward the #6 light pole (Labeled: Shamu) to the drop-off area to the right of the main arches. The check-in table will be before all the animal groups who will meet along the fence. All camper paperwork MUST be completed and returned to SeaWorld before the start of the camp session. Once checked in, your counselor will give you a Camper Ticket. Please check that your child’s first and last name is on the ticket. A ticket must be given to the child’s counselor before he/she can be released for pick up. This policy is for the protection of your child. If someone else will be picking up your child, please give him or her a ticket (example: babysitter, carpool, grandparent, etc.). T-SHIRTS AND WATERBOTTLES Each camper will receive one SeaWorld Camp t-shirt and one Camp waterbottle as a part of tuition for camp. Additional shirts are available, and may be purchased at Guest Services any other day of the week. The SeaWorld Camp T-shirt must be worn during the Friday Program; SeaWorld Camp T-shirts from previous years are acceptable as long as they are of the same color. CAMPER PICK-UP POLICY Campers should be picked up promptly at the Main Entrance by 5:00 pm. To pick up your camper, proceed to the same area as you dropped off your child. Please park and turn off your car before you meet the counselor to pick up your camper. At no time will campers be brought to your car for pick-up. Keep in mind this area is only for camper pick-up. Extended parking is not permitted. If you need extended parking, please use the general parking area.

CAMP ACTIVITIES Campers will enjoy the animal areas, see shows and ride the roller coaster and water rides in the park (campers must meet established height requirements in order to ride). Campers will not go to Aquatica but will have the opportunity to get wet in our Sesame Bay of Play and through other camp activities. ♦ IMPORTANT ♦ HEALTH & SAFETY FORM and PARTICIPANT/MEDICAL RELEASES Please fill out the enclosed HEALTH & SAFETY FORMS and PARTICIPANT/MEDICAL RELEASES completely. In order to process the health and safety information and to avoid waiting in line on Friday morning, it is highly recommended that the forms and releases be returned at least two weeks prior to the first day of your camp session. Campers must have completed forms and releases on file to participate in camp. If camper is attending a week of Ocean Quest camp, medical forms and releases are not needed, but please let us know if there are any changes. Please return Health History Forms and Releases to the following address: SEAWORLD DAY CAMPS 10500 SEAWORLD DRIVE SAN ANTONIO, TX 78251 NOTE: If the forms are either returned by email or fax, please bring the original copies. SeaWorld Camp policy states we must have original signatures on all legal forms. CANCELLATIONS If you must reschedule your SeaWorld Camp session, please be aware there is a $25 rescheduling fee per camper per change. If you must cancel your camp session, please call Reservations, 210-523-3608 at least 2 weeks before the camp session begins. Your camp fees less a $40 service and processing fee will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the camp session begins, will not receive a refund. You may substitute another child of the same age. MEDICATION All medication (prescription, nonprescription and over the counter) must be checked-in with SeaWorld Camp Management and Nurse upon arrival at camp. MEDICATIONS MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING THAT IDENTIFIES THE PRESCRIBING PHYSICIAN, NAME OF MEDICATION, DOSAGE AND FREQUENCY OF ADMINISTRATION. Only medication listed in the Health History forms will be administered during camp hours. Medications will be kept in a locked area and administered only by SeaWorld Health Services staff. Medication should be picked up from your child’s camp counselor daily. To assist our camp counselors and medical staff, we ask that all medication be placed in a zip sealed plastic sandwich bag, labeled using a permanent marker with your camper’s name and animal group. CAMPER FRIENDS In order for campers to be placed in the same camp group, they should be of the same age. SeaWorld Camp groups campers as follows: 5-6 year olds, 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds and 11-12 year olds. The SeaWorld Camp staff will make every effort to place friends in the same group, but placement is NOT guaranteed.

SNACK AND LUNCH A snack will be provided for the campers during the day. CAMPERS MUST BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH packed in a small lunchbox - refrigerated space is not available. Campers are provided with a water bottle so that they may stay hydrated. ATTIRE Please dress your child in cool, comfortable play clothes and comfortable walking shoes (flip-flops are not recommended). Campers will walk a lot throughout the day and will get wet. SeaWorld Camp is a conservative camp and we ask that all campers dress appropriately (e.g., shorts should be at least mid thigh). Bathing suits may be worn underneath regular clothing but camp t-shirts and shorts must be worn at all times. Keep in mind, Texas is hot in the summertime; therefore, a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Also, consider the weather report. The campers will be outside all day. If rain is predicted, please send a raincoat or poncho (no umbrellas). Names should be on all personal items (e.g., lunch boxes, cameras, hats). Lost and found items will be donated to a local charity if not claimed two weeks after the camp session. ADMISSION AND FEES Camp fees DO NOT include admission into the park before or after camp. Camp fees do include all camp activities, SeaWorld Camp t-shirt, SeaWorld Camp water bottle, snacks, all counselors, and medical and security personnel. CAMP REGULATIONS SeaWorld San Antonio Camps strictly enforces the following regulations. Violations may result in disciplinary action up to and including removal or exclusion from certain activities or removal from the camp program. • While at camp weapons or firearms are prohibited. • The use of alcohol, drugs, and smoking is prohibited. • Please do not bring any pets. This includes dogs, cats, hermit crabs, lizards, etc. • Personal sports equipment, such as bats, balls, etc., is not allowed at camp. If sports equipment is to be used in an activity it will be provided. • Campers should stay with their group at all times. • Cursing, inappropriate, or vulgar language will NOT be tolerated at camp. • Stealing, lying, and cheating are intolerable under any circumstances. We do not tolerate disrespectful behavior toward other campers, park staff or park guests. Put downs and bullying may result in dismissal from camp. • Cell phones should not be used at camp. If a cell phone is brought for use after camp, it should remain off until after camp is over. SeaWorld is not responsible for theft or damage to cell phones at camp. Please notify the counselor if a camper needs to carry a cell phone. SEAWORLD CAMP PARENT/GUARDIAN NOTIFICATION POLICY It is our policy to keep the parents or guardians of our campers informed of camper health concerns and behavior during his or her camp experience. We will also contact parents or guardians in the event of inclement weather that would create the need for campers to be picked up. SeaWorld Camp Staff will notify you for the following health reasons: • Any minor injury requiring more than a small adhesive bandage. • Any illness requiring a visit to our Health Services office or transportation of the camper to a doctor’s office, clinic or hospital emergency room.

SeaWorld Camp Staff will also notify parents or guardians in the case of behavioral or social problems while at camp. Some of these behavioral concerns might include: • Flagrant disregard or breaking of Camp Rules and Regulations (listed.) • Any behavior that endangers or harms any other camper, staff member, guest, or animal. • Behavioral or disciplinary problems for which the camper has been pulled aside and counseled by the counselor, Camp Supervisor, and Camp Manager. We will contact the parent or guardian by phone, in the presence of the camper, to discuss the situation and conditions for remaining in camp or arrangements for ending the camp experience.
