FEB 2/3

We should be condemned, but Jesus stood in our place. We should have died, but Jesus was our substitute. We should have endured God’s wrath, but instead we were lavished with his love. The ultimate Holy Wow? God sent his son just for us.

Discussion Questions 1. What are the things in life that wow you? Why do you think the things that used to wow you, don’t wow you anymore? 2. The greatest trade ever made was God sending his son Jesus to take the place for our sins. When did you experience a trade you didn’t deserve? 3. Read Psalm 40:1-2. If you’ve made the decision to follow Christ, how has God lifted you up out of the mud pits? How has he transformed your life? If you haven’t made the decision, what is keeping you from doing so? 4. What are 1-2 ways you can begin to apply what you learned in the message this week?

Challenge If you haven’t been baptized as a follower of Jesus, consider taking this next step on Feb 9/10. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and an act of obedience in your walk with Jesus. For more information and to register, visit eaglebrookchurch.com/baptism.
