She attended school at Elkton, Harms and Boonshill Schools, where she enjoyed participating in the 4-H club. She married George E. Milstead in 1950 and together they had three sons and one daughter. Mrs. Milstead was a former employee of Lincoln Skill Care and Health Inn and she was a member of West Fayetteville Church of Christ. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, embroidery and cross stitching. She also enjoyed gardening and canning food. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Milstead was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Milstead; son, Billy Gene Milstead; and brothers, Robert Bryan Doud and John Cletus Doud. Survivors include her daughter, Mary L. Milstead; sons, Thomas L. Milstead and John R. Milstead; sister, Estelle Helms; brothers, James R. Doud, Barnie G. Doud, Winston F. Doud, W. Kenneth Doud, C.F.
