Philippians 4:10-13 SUGGESTED DISCUSSION POINTS FROM JULY 29, 2018 SERMON

1. Discuss what “all things” meant to you before this sermon and how your thoughts might have changed. 2. Are there any keys that you learned that might help in becoming content in difficulty and in prosperity? 3. Choose some of these “things” and make application to the scripture and practical life. A. All things for our good. (apply Romans 8:28) B. All things we don’t understand. How do we explain when prayers don’t seem to be answered. C. All things that are the will of God. Discuss your concept of the will of God. D. All things I am called to do. We are called to salvation, called to suffer. What are some other things that apply? E. All things that we are asked to obey. What is the most difficult act of obedience for you? 4. Take some time to pray about how you can apply some principles that you have learned from this lesson.
