Communication hub for Aperio wireless devices Avigilon™ Access Control Manager (ACM) utilizes the ASSA ABLOY™ AH30 1-to-8 Standard Aperio® RS485 our wireless locks solution. This allows ACM to communicate with up to eight ASSA ABLOY Aperio locks on a single hub and to scale larger with additional hubs and locks as your requirements expand.
Paired with wireless locks, the ASSA ABLOY Aperio RS485 communication hub provides a security solution that is seamless and easy to install. Minimal field configuration is required, and installation has been simplified. The hub is designed for connection to ACM via RS485 (through Mercury subpanels). There is an integrated antenna with the option to mount an external antenna. Local wireless communication eliminates the cost and inconvenience of wiring in and around the door, without the hassle of complex site surveys. ASSA ABLOY Aperio USB radio dongle Programming Application Tool The ASSA ABLOY Aperio AS-APRD1/PAP1 USB radio dongle provides encrypted radio communication to Aperio devices and hubs. The dongle is used with the Aperio Programming Application software tool for setting up and programming Aperio-based products. Using the software the installer simply plugs in the USB radio dongle to the PC to communicate directly to the Aperio lock via the communication hub. The software has an encrypted installation database that can be used to manage any number of sites.
