FEB. 10/11

There is a power in the name of Jesus Christ that isn’t found anywhere else in this world. And this power transforms lives. It’s what turns followers into leaders, breaks destructive habits, and takes away the fear of death. It’s what gives you a second chance, a fresh start. And all you have to do is accept this free gift from God for that transformation to be part of your story.

Discussion Questions 1. What’s the best gift you’ve ever been given? What made it so special? 2. How has God changed your life for the better? In what areas of life can those changes be seen—in your character, your habits, your overall lifestyle? If God hasn’t changed your life, what’s holding you back from giving your life to Him? 3. Have you ever had a divine encounter? Maybe it was a person that God brought into your life at just the right time or a message that you felt was written specifically for you. How did that experience impact your life? 4. Read Matthew 28:18-20. This passage, often called The Great Commission, calls us to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them about Jesus. What are a couple of ways that you can be part of this calling in your own community and day-to-day life?

Challenge Make a list of ways you can be bold in your faith in the next month. Share your ideas with a friend and have them hold you accountable in doing them.
