Houseboat Trip 2017

Houseboat Trip 2017  Itinerary  ‐ Meeting at Highlands on Monday June 19 at 6 am. We will leave by 7 am.  ‐ We plan on returning to Highlands on Thursday June 22 by 6 pm.   ‐ Q: Jeff Stevens 619‐708‐5446   ‐ We will be on Lake Powell – going out of Antelope Point Marina   

 Packing List:  ‐ Sleeping bag & pillow  ‐ Bathing Suit(s) Appropriate to the activity (not a sun bathing camp)  ‐ Girls may want to bring shorts to wear over suit when boarding or tubing  ‐ Reusable water bottle  ‐ Bathroom supplies (shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant)  ‐ Towel  ‐ Sunscreen (NO SPRAY sunscreen‐ damages ski boat seat)  ‐ Sunglasses and chap‐stick with sun protection  ‐ Sandals   ‐ Bible  ‐ Money for traveling meals only (2 meals) or extra for the marina.    

What Not To Bring:  ‐ Do not bring excessive amounts of clothes. You will probably be in your  suit the entire time and only change t‐shirts. You don’t need a different  outfit each day!  ‐ Do not bring life vests. All vests and boards will be provided.  ‐ Drug’s, alcohol, cigarette’s  ‐ Anything you are afraid to lose or drop in the water (phones, iPads, etc.)  ‐ Highlands church is not responsible for anything lost or stolen.   

Payments and Medical Forms:  Please call church office if you have questions.  Medical release forms and  information necessary are found at www.highlandschurch.org/  Camp cost  before May 15 is $350.00, must be reserved with $50 deposit and paid in  full by June 19, 2017.  Camp cost increases to $400 on May 16 and has to  be reserved with $100 deposit.  Payment plans can NOW be completed  online at the above link.  Q:  Call Kathy Benscoter at church 480‐348‐9191    I can’t wait to go on this trip with you! – Jeff Stevens
