The Human Resources Adviser, UAE is responsible for providing first line HR advisory and basic employee relations advice to the UAE Navitas employee population. This role will act as a key intermediary between the employee population and HR services support, such as payroll which is provided by the HR Shared Services team, based in Sydney, Australia. The HR Adviser also provides HR operational support specific to the UAE, such as recruitment & selection coordination in an expatriate environment, issuing employment contracts in line with UAE labour law and the accurate and timely processing of employment visa’s. The position aims to continually provide the UAE leadership team with a consistently professional level of operational and advisory HR advice and support, as well as maintaining relationships and a strong communication link with the Australian based HR Shared Services team. The ideal candidate we seek will ideally have the following:         

Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources or business related discipline Demonstrated knowledge of UAE Labour Law Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating significant volumes of recruitment in the Middle East Knowledge and solid experience managing UAE specific HR operational requirements such as the employee visa process and the yearly renewal of Medical Insurance for employees Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers Demonstrated ability to engage with employees in a professional and trusted manner, be a reliable adviser and be committed to providing a high level of customer service Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills Experience managing stakeholders in a global context and remotely Demonstrated computer literacy relevant to the role, including competency with the MS Office suite and knowledge of HRIS systems
