On-Line Family Mass Reflection

Families with student(s) in JHYM are encouraged and invited to celebrate Eucharist at a Catholic church each week! On your WAY TO CHURCH, we ask you to click this link and click the date on the calendar (on the upper right hand side) to preview the readings you will hear. Please READ THE GOSPEL before attending Mass. ON YOUR WAY HOME, please discuss your experience, fill out and submit this form. We ask for 7 submissions by each family by the end of April, 2019.

Date you attended a Catholic Mass: _______________________________ Scripture is the LIVING Word of God! Through the Holy Scriptures, God will teach us, guide us and challenge us. What was something you heard in one of the READINGS that relates to you or helped you in some way? What was something that inspired or challenged you, or something you remember from the HOMILY? The Holy Spirit is present in us and with us when we are at Mass. The power of the Holy Spirit is what works through the priest to turn the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus. Was there any time (through music, readings, homily, prayers, etc) that you had a sense of the peace and presence of the Holy Spirit at Mass? When we celebrate Mass, we are united with ALL Catholics around the world as well as those who have gone before us and are now celebrating with us in Heaven.
