2019 YOUTH ON MISSIONS 12th GRADE GUATEMALA SPECIFICS TRAVEL DAYS: MARCH 16 AND MARCH 23 The purpose of this trip is to expose students to different cultures as well as to create an opportunity for their relationship with God to grow by sharing the Gospel and serving others. Students will be partnered with local Guatemalan outreach programs to serve their communities in construction projects and in schools with children.

Merciful Father, thank You for Your mercy and protection for safe travel, smooth flights and ontime connections to and from Guatemala, as well as traveling safety in and around the city. Sovereign Lord, thank You for reigning sovereign over the weather for travel and serving all week in Guatemala. Give our students and leaders favor for smooth transfers through customs with all passports intact. Father, thank You for blessing our students and leaders as they travel together. We pray they would know Your peace, connect with one another and experience unity. Help them to help others follow Jesus by their good witness. Caring and Mighty Father, thank You for Your protection as our students serve You. Give our students and leaders wisdom to make healthy food and water choices, keeping them from all sickness. Keep every student and leader from all accidents all week. Loving Lord, thank You for giving students and leaders Your heart and eyes to see every person as You do. Give them discernment and bold faith to pray and to speak words of hope to locals. Help our students and leaders hear and yield to the Holy Spirit’s guidance for effective Spirit-led prayer with miracles following much fruitbearing for Christ’s Kingdom. Savior, thank You for the gift of salvation! Bless our students and leaders with many opportunities to boldly share the Gospel in Guatemala. Thank You for preparing hearts in advance to hear, believe and respond with faith in Christ. All for Your glory, Father! Father, thank You for blessing our students and leaders as they interact with children. Give them favor for quick connections and playful fun for relationship building and nurturing. Lord, thank You for giving our students and leaders on-the-spot wisdom, enduring joy and strength all week as they serve You. Merciful Father, thank You for creating families! Help each student and leader experience joyful, smooth and harmonious reunions with their families. Blessed Father, thank You for David, our Guatemala team leader. Bless and equip him with good health, strength, wisdom, discernment and patience. Thank You for giving him sensitivity to hear and yield to Your voice. (John 10:4)
