Forever Faithful presents . . .

Thursday, May 24 ▪ 6pm Potluck ▪ 7pm Program Attention adults, regardless of age! If you are a caregiver to a loved one with life-limiting illnesses, a conversation about hospice can help you and your loved one prepare for end-of-life situations as well as help you support that person’s wishes. Luann Travis, Community Engagement Coordinator from Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, will discuss Hospice Services and Caregiver Needs at the next Forever Faithful program. Our very own Faith Community Nursing Coordinator, Kristie Ahlborg, will also join Luann. Of the 7 years Kristie worked in hospice care, 4 of those years were at SSRCH, where she cared for both patients in various stages of the dying process and their families. This care included physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual care.

Join us for delicious food and an opportunity to learn about hospice services, the need for caregivers to participate in the conversation, and signs of caregiver fatigue. Please sign up to bring a casserole, salad, fruit, or dessert. Sign-ups will be available in Equip classes, as well as on the bulletin board near the Gathering Grounds coffee bar in the Welcome Center. If you plan to attend the program only, please indicate that also so that adequate seating will be available. You won’t want to miss this important topic! Invite a friend! Offering basket donations will go toward Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Checks can be made out to SSRCH and are tax deductible.
