VESTRY NOMINATION FORM - 2018 Please complete the following form and return it to Kerry Johnson in the church office no later than Sunday, October 15th, 2018. INFORMATION FORM FOR VESTRY NOMINEES To be eligible to serve on the Vestry, one must be an enrolled, confirmed adult communicant in good standing. Vestry members are expected to make a commitment of time and talents to the ministry of the Vestry. This ministry is accomplished in part through monthly Vestry meetings (currently held the third Monday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm), committee meetings, weekend retreats, and specific individual assignments. The Vestry is responsible for a careful evaluation of parish programs; for the church building and grounds; for the securing and expenditure of funds necessary for these programs; and for aiding in communications within the parish. Vestry persons accept the authority of the Episcopal Church. It is expected that, through their works and actions, Vestry persons will provide leadership for the parishioners and ministry to the clergy. Having read the above statement, I am willing to accept it and hereby give permission for my name to be placed in nomination for election to the Vestry.
