the small print Capacity, Timing & Prices Your wedding celebration in La Belle Epoque The room hire charge for La Belle Epoque is priced from £1000 for your private lunch or dinner. Seasonal canapés, personalised headed menus, a framed table plan and individual place cards are included in the room hire charge. Please note that the minimum capacity of La Belle Epoque private dining room is 15 guests and maximum capacity 50 guests. We reserve the right to insist on a minimum number of guests at certain times. The timings of events in La Belle Epoque are as follows: Private Lunch Private Dinner Weddings

Your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast The facility charge for your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast, including the room hire of La Belle Epoque, is priced from £3500. The fees for the Registrar are to be discussed directly with the Registrars Office.
Accommodation In order to secure bedroom accommodation a deposit of £200 per room per night is required at the time of the reservation. Our room prices are quoted per room, per night and will include full English breakfast and VAT for two guests. Your accommodation will be ready from 3.00pm and checkout is until 11.30am. We endeavour to accommodate early check in or a late check out if required, however this can not be agreed in advance and is dependant on the levels of business on any given day. If guests wish to get ready in their room on the wedding day we would advise that accommodation is booked for two nights; the night prior to the wedding and the night of the wedding. Exclusive Use Marquee or equivalent is permitted only when the property is taken exclusively, subject to agreement. Payments & Deposits All prices are quoted in pound sterling and will include Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate and all payments are to be made in pound sterling. Payment is to be made by cash; cheque, banker’s draft or credit cards recognised by the hotel and to limits accepted by the hotel. The final balance will need to be settled before your departure. Cheques are not accepted on departure. The client agrees to pay the hotel for any food, beverage or other service not provided for within this contract but made available, upon request of the client during their event. For events in La Belle Epoque a deposit of £100 per person is required at the time the signed contract is received based on confirmed or the stated minimum number of guests. For suite weddings we require full prepayment of the facility fee along with a deposit of £200 per room per night.
Suite weddings The facility fee for holding your wedding ceremony in your chosen suite is £850 and includes personalised headed menus and individual place cards if required. This is in addition to your overnight room rate. The maximum table we offer in the restaurant is for fourteen guests. Large tables are required to dine from one fixed menu and therefore a la carte is only available for up to six guests. Menus and wines Menus are priced from £95 per person. Champagne is priced from £70 per bottle. Wine is priced from £45 per bottle. Tea, coffee and petits fours are included in the menu price.

Twenty-eight days prior to the event a pro-forma invoice with the estimated expected spend will be prepared and sent to you. This is required to be settled fourteen days prior to you joining us. All charges and fees must be put to one bill and settled in full on departure. Charges will apply for unacceptable behaviour, damage to property and over staying beyond the agreed timing confirmed to you in writing.
Cancellation In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking or ceremony in a suite at any time prior to the event, the hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee against the contract value, according to notice received. However, the hotel will try to mitigate its loss by re-letting the reservation taking reasonable steps in its discretion to mitigate the client’s liability. In addition to the charges above, the client agrees to re-imburse the hotel for any costs incurred by it arising from a consequential cancellation of the hotels arrangements with a third party. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel or postpone your confirmed accommodation within a 14 day notice period of arrival, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full room rate. To safeguard against unforeseen cancellations, we recommend you take out an insurance policy. Notice period and cancellation fees are as follows 100% of deposit & estimated spend 0-4 weeks prior to event 100% of deposit 4-10 weeks prior to event 50% of deposit 11-24 weeks prior to event Refund of deposit paid 25 weeks and over General Should you wish to use any of our outdoor ceremonial areas, these can not be booked for a civil ceremony unless you have also booked a suitable indoor area concurrently, in the event of bad weather. Le Manoir is licensed to play amplified music up to 90 decibels. All music can be played until 12.30am. The bar and lounges in the main house are reserved for residential guests only. Le Manoir is only able to accept confetti that is in the form of either fresh or dried large pale coloured rose petals. Paper, rice or any other confetti is strictly not permitted. No combustibles are allowed due to fire safety; this includes, but is not limited to, sparklers, fireworks and Chinese Lanterns.
