Wonder of Knowing God Selected Scripture

Jeremiah 4:22 – 22

“For My people are foolish, they know Me not; they are stupid children and have no understanding. They are shrewd to do evil, but to do good they do not know.”

Jeremiah 10:10 – 10

But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.

Isaiah 45:5 & 6 5

“I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me;

I.

God is incomprehensible but knowable.

Psalm 145:3 3

Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable.

God is One God but three persons.

III. God is transcendant but personal.

Deuteronomy 31:8 8

The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
