Debbie’s Place* Whanganui Music wanted I am calling for Whanganui musicians and bands to submit three tracks by emailing their MP3s to [email protected]. A soundtrack will be compiled for playback over the Council phone system to provide exposure for local musicians.

Sculptors - call for Expressions of Interest The Board of Bason Botanic Gardens in Whanganui is seeking expressions of interest for a large abstract sculpture to be positioned within the Gardens. The sculpture will be 10-12 metres in height, and formed from steel or other metal. It needs to be viewable from all sides, and will create a key vista within the Gardens. It will be in a maritime situation with high salt deposition, and needs to meet the requirements for safety and durability expected by the Wanganui District Council. Expressions of interest need to be supplied by Friday 30th May, 2014 to PO Box 778, Wanganui, or to the below email address. Inquiries to Clive Higgie, 06 3427 857, [email protected]
