Event Internship The Dallas Sports Commission is a non-profit organization that attracts, retains and supports sports and entertainment events that position Dallas as the premier sports destination. The DSC is a division of VisitDallas. Our efforts have significantly increased awareness of Dallas locally, nationally, and internationally, and have resulted in the Dallas metro area being recognized as the #1 visitor destination in the state of Texas and the #1 sports city in America as voted by The Sporting News. Twenty-two spellers advanced to the Dallas Regional Spelling Bee, and the winner of the Regional Bee received an all-expenses paid trip along with two family members to compete at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the Washington, D.C. area. The 60th Annual Dallas Regional Spelling Bee will take place on March 24, 2018. The position will support and assist with the operation of the Dallas Regional Spelling Bee.
