FOUNDATIONS IN EMBODIED ANATOMY Body-Mind Centering® Immersion Series

PROCESS:

Cells, Breath & Embryology FULL MOON LISA CLARK & AMY MATTHEWS January 5-7, 2017 9am-4pm Life begins as movement. From our first moments as two cells, through the whole process of our embryological development and into our adult lives, our cells are breathing and communicating and adapting and responding to each other and their environment. This cellular activity underlies all our processes of living and is the baseline of our existence. When we explore re-membering our embryological origins and embodying cellular respiration, we open up new pathways for awareness and shifts in consciousness. Explore yoga from a whole-body consciousness - learning new sources of structure and integrity by opening new layers of kinesthetic awareness. The Foundations in Embodied Anatomy immersion teaches yoga as a fully creative, authentic, life nurturing practice, and encourages us to reach into the roots of our full human design and potential.

The format for each day includes lecture, light asana, interactive study and discussion. Handouts are provided for each weekend session. The requirement for entry into these courses is a personal movement practice and a basic familiarity with yoga asana. No prior experience with Body-Mind Centering® is necessary. Hours: 9am-4pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, w/ 1 hour lunch mid-day.
