Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau Photo and Video Contest for 2017 Promotions The Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) publishes guides, web sites, uses social media and other promotional materials that help bring people to our area for vacations and business. Please help us depict the beauty and opportunity of Fergus Falls by submitting photographs and video we can use in our promotions. Many of them will be included in our materials. Rules 1. The contest is open to anyone except employees of the Fergus Falls CVB, its board of directors, its advertising agency or family members of the above. 2. All photographs and video must be taken in Fergus Falls or Otter Tail County. 3. Do not digitally alter photographs (other than cropping). 4. Each photographer is limited to ten photograph and five video entries. Materials will not be returned (if you would like them back, please indicate that and we’ll notify you when they are ready). 5. Please upload materials in the highest resolution possible. 6. Photographers agree that they have obtained permission from subjects in their photos and videos to have material submitted for this contest and used for future CVB promotional purposes including social media. 7. The Fergus Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau will have unlimited but not exclusive use of all material submitted for the current year and all future promotions. We will require permission to download and use video and may request raw footage in some instances. 8. The Fergus Falls CVB is not responsible for damaged or lost materials submitted for the contest. However, every effort will be made to protect materials. 9. All entries must be sent or delivered with a completed entry (attached page). 10. Please consider using hashtags as they fit your material: #FergusFallsMN, #OnlyinMN, #FFArtsNCulture, etc. 11. We may link photos and video to social media for public comment and engagement. 12. Photos: Digital images are required. Submit a CD or flash drive and please also submit 4x6 prints – they don’t need to be on photo paper. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL PHOTOS. [email protected] 13. Each entry should be labeled with the photographers name and year photo was taken. Each photographer’s work must be accompanied by a completed and signed entry blank. Entrants under the age of 18 must have a parent’s signature. 14. Limit of 10 photos per submission. 15. Video: Videos must be a maximum of five minutes in length and minimum: 30 seconds. 16. Limit of five videos per submission. You may add music, edit, etc. 17.
