FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR Salary £14903.43 to £16726.86 dependent on experience Hours of work, Term time only 32 weeks per year, 35 hours per week plus pro-rata 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays + 5 days closed for Christmas. About Us York St John Students’ Union is a Students’ Union serving 6,300 students based on a campus in central York. The Students’ Union runs a variety of commercial and noncommercial services to assist students during their time at York St. John University, with the overall objective being to enable students to have an exceptional experience. About the Job This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and successful individual looking for a responsible role within the finance department. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Students’ Union Finance Office, particularly the reconciliation of all transactions for income and expenditure and control of all bank transactions. The Students’ Union has extensive financial policies and procedures and the Finance Administrator will be responsible in ensuring all transactions are in line with the Student Union’s financial regulations. About You You will be a positive and adaptable person with proven experience of involvement in cash handling, production of management accounts and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. You will have experience working in an administrative and organised environment and be a highly motivated and outgoing person.
