On one hand, we want to believe truth is _______________ – that may be true for you but not true for me – but only when it benefits me and the decisions I want to make. On the other hand, we want truth to be ________________ when others do things that affect me in ways I don’t like.

We can know truth, and knowing truth _____________. I love the word tolerant in what it really means. Tolerance means being ________________ and loving of others even if we disagree with them. Tolerance today often means I have to _____________ another person’s beliefs or actions. By this definition, was Jesus tolerant? He not only disagreed with the Sadducees, but He said you are ______________. The Bible isn’t the source of truth. The Bible is God’s specific revelation of Who He is. And even more, He has revealed His character and heart to us in Jesus. (Jn. 18:37-38) As followers of Jesus, we are to be always __________________ but not judgmental.
