WORSHIP EXPERIENCE There are so many aspects to creating a worship experience at Grace. From arts to technical to creativity. Are you gifted in any of these areas?

Vocalists – solos & backup for worship, children’s programming and special events.
Instrumentalists –wide variety of musical styles during weekend services and special events.

Equipment Operators and Assistants – run lighting, video and sound systems in main worship center. Run audio/video systems for youth, children, or off-campus events.
Service Director – Help to achieve distraction free worship environment by leading sound, light, and presentation teams during services.
Stage Design – Assist in creating a creative worship space. Opportunities include sewing, rigging, construction, woodwork, and metal fabrication.

Video – film and edit creative videos, life stories and announcements.
Creative Media – produce compelling media and computer animations, create custom music tracks for media content, or provide weekend and event photography.

Office Team – perform receptionist duties, complete data entry projects and basic copying.
Product Assembly – collate weekend service programs, newsletters, or mailings, assist with assembly of sermon packaging or guest bags for all campuses.

Writing/Proofing – produce succinct, effective copy for articles, promotional pieces, Web pages, newsletters and other informational pieces. Check these for quality and accuracy.
Graphic Design – create graphic elements for series promotional pieces, special events and Web projects.
Web Development – maintain multimedia Web content, ensure consistency and maintain interactive Web pages.
Social Media Team – be part of a marketing team that dreams up and implements social media strategy at Grace (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.).
Buildings and Grounds Contact:

Facility Maintenance – put your skills to work on projects requiring plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, general construction, carpentry, and light cleaning.
Grounds Maintenance – help with clearing and salting sidewalks prior to services, planting and landscape care, organizing and serving during special work days.
Facility Setup & Teardown – help set up/tear down chairs and tables for weekly classes and/or special events.
White Glove Facility Care – assist in keeping our facility clean throughout the week.
Decorating Team – find your niche in assisting in decorating different areas of the church for weekend services, season indoor and outdoor decorating, and special events.

ServErie Saturdays – help address the needs of the Erie community. Reach out and supply care and support to needy individuals, groups, and organizations in our city.
Adopt-a-Neighborhood Team - monthly activities in a targeted inner-city neighborhood
Getting Ahead Team - Facilitate 14 week classes to help people in poverty become self-sufficient.

Equip Teachers – Lead up to 20 people through a specific curriculum. Classes are generally 3-4 weeks.
2/7 Table Leaders – Table leaders encourage discussion for break-out groups of approx. 6-8 people following a large group presentation. Leaders demonstrate care for the people around the table while encouraging discussion.

Second Date Hosts – These volunteers share the next steps opportunities at Grace with new attenders. They are gracious and caring as well as knowledgeable. Training provided.

GRACEKIDS Are you up for the excitement - and the challenges - of helping children discover they matter to God? (Or maybe you're just a kid at heart - and you know you'll have fun in our amazing kid’s ministry, too!) Contact: Sarah Gossage –

Welcome and Support-- Be a warm and friendly face that helps visitors register, check in and find classrooms for their children.
Nursery [infants through toddlers] – interact, cuddle, feed, rock to sleep - and yes, change diapers.
2-3 year olds – prepare the ever-popular snacks (and clean up afterwards!), do simple crafts (ditto cleanup), read, teach, play.
Preschool-Kindergarten [includes 4-5 year-olds] – use curriculum to teach, sing songs, read, serve snacks and just enjoy this fun age group.
Elementary [1st-5th grade] – use curriculum to teach, lead small groups, supervise activities.
Behind the Scenes-- Help children and families make permanent connections to the church. Enter information into database. Restock supplies and snacks.

GRACEYOUTH Are you an adult who comprehends the pressures and challenges of young people today? Are you a student who wants to serve your peers? Want them to know how much they matter to God – no matter what?

Small Group Mentor – develop relationships with students and oversee a weekly small group focused on prayer, fellowship, and Bible study (Sunday nights, 4:30-6:30 for senior highs and Thursday nights, 6:30-8:30 for junior highs).
Sunday School Mentor – develop relationships with students for 4 week periods at a time and guide them through a lesson set based on the 7 Checkpoints of Youth Ministry philosophy (Sunday AM at 9:15).
Ministry Leader – lead a team of students in a hands-on ministry effort like, worship team, prayer team, hospitality team, drama team, local mission’s team, or a team of parents for a parent ministry team etc.
Set up – assist leaders with set up before and after Thursday night, Sunday morning, or Sunday afternoon programs.
Café Host – Prepare, set out & clean up snacks on Thursday nights or dinner on Sunday nights.
