October is Pastor Appreciation Month. In observance of this, TODAY we have gift bags in the lobby for each pastor where you may leave them a card or note of encouragement. There will also be cookies and coffee to enjoy with the pastors between services. The church is also presenting them with a gift of appreciation.

Next Sunday, November 1st, is The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. In preparation, we will be participating in a webcast by Open Doors Ministry on Friday, October 30th, beginning promptly at 7:00pm in the Youth ReSet Room. Enter through door C. Guests from the countries of North Korea, Iraq, and Kenya will be sharing on the simulcast. Come and learn how you can pray for the persecuted church.

MEN’S MINISTRY Our Men’s Annual Wild Game Feast will be held Friday, November 6th, from 6:00-9:00pm. Our guest speaker will be Greg Hatten. Greg is an expert in consumer products and a master at launching new products at retail. He is also a freelance writer, public speaker, river runner, wooden boat builder, outfitter, and fly fishing guide in the state of Oregon. Please bring your favorite wild game dish (or any side dish) and invite a friend or two. If you can’t bring a dish, bring a 2 liter pop, or a dessert. You will be blessed and renewed by the fellowship.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY Sign up for our next .ING event, “Laugh.ing All the Way…” to be held Saturday, November 14th, 9:00-10:30am. Enjoy a morning of skits, music, games, gifts, fellowship & desserts. CANCER CARE MINISTRY Several people within our church are finding support and encouragement through this ministry we’ve titled, “Amazing Grace, Cancer Care Ministry”. If you know someone impacted by cancer, from Grace Evangelical, or in the community, who might benefit from this kind of ministry, please contact Pastor Dave.
The Single’s and MSG’s will be taking a trip in November to Jamesport, MO, for their largest event of the year. Over 80 craft booths in 3 buildings, with an old time cookie and candy walk. Sign up for this event at the information desk to see which date works best for everyone. We will be going Friday, November 27th, OR Saturday, November 28th, in the church vans. SPECIAL SERVICES PLANNED INFANT DEDICATION, Sunday, November 22nd: Parents please write DEDICATION by your name and phone number on the registration pad if you have a young child you would like to formally dedicate to the Lord. A meeting with the pastor will be held Sunday, November 8th at 6:00pm. BAPTISM, November 29th, 6:00pm Service: If you are a new Christian, or one who has never testified of your faith in Jesus by being water baptized, you are encouraged to do so. Everyone who wishes to be baptized must sign up at the Information Desk and pick up an Information Sheet before attending the baptism meeting scheduled for 5:30pm on Wednesday, November 4th.

HONDURAS MISSION TRIP Three work and witness mission trips are planned for 2016 to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Trip dates are February 19th – 26th, and March 12th – 19th. A youth trip is also planned for summer. Work includes construction and projects for dump families and helping at the school for children of the dump. A sign-up list is at the Information Desk. RESET STUDENT MINISTRY (7th - 12th Grades) ►MIDWEEK: Wednesday, October 28th, doors open at 6:30 – 8:00 pm. In the Youth Room. ►Winter Retreat: December 28th - 30th in Omaha, NE. Trip cost is $100. There is a manila envelope at the information desk for sign ups and deposits. Deadline is Nov. 29.
