HAMLEYS FLYERS GUIDE – MAXI DRONE Charging

-

*BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCHARGE [ e.g. DO NOT leave charging overnight! ]* Should ONLY charge for 10-15 min, providing you with flying time of 10-12 min. Let the drone battery die completely before re-charging each time. The charger is mains powered, and needs to be plugged into a plug socket to charge the battery

Lights -

If lights brakes you can still fly your item, lights only indicate the direction.

Propellers/ Blades -

If the propellers are not moving : o Remove the blade and check if any hair or fluff is stuck on the motor pin or blow to remove any dust. Once clean, pop the propeller back onto the motor pin o

-

You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the blades

Red blades should be at the front and the black blades at the back

Trimming (flying the drone): Through use, the drone can lose their calibration. The Maxi Drone has an auto trim function which is explained in the instructions included in the Maxi Drone box. The following are the instructions: -

On the top left side of the controller there is a button (speed button) press it till it beeps four times.

-

Then hold both controller sticks pointing down and left until the lights on the drone flash. Drone has to be on during this process, and on a flat surface.

-

Once the lights stop flashing, the drone should be calibrated and ready to fly.

-

Press the speed button on the controller again, so that it beeps once (normal speed) before flying again

-

If this doesn’t work, look at the blades spinning and check if any are moving noticeably slower. In the event of a motor not operating correctly, please contact Hamleys customer services, to speak to one of our advisors

FINAL flying instructions : Left stick on the remote –Controls height (up and down) Right stick on the remote– Direction Left and Right, forwards and backwards Try to be as gentle a possible when moving the left thumb stick as it is always most sensitive controlling the up and down of all drones. Use only small micro movements. P.S. with all of our R/C products, please make sure that you have checked that the batteries are placed in the right way and always read the instructions. We hope you are back up and flying!
