hat surprises you? What do you do when you are pleasantly surprised? How have you been surprised by the work and will of God?

Our text today is loaded with surprises for the principle participants in this account that has been left to us by Doctor Luke in the book of Acts. He was a careful observer to what God was doing as He grew His Church. Sometimes we are afraid to go on the record when it comes to recognizing the hand of God in the affairs of men. But what we read in the inspired and inerrant Word of God is accurate, trustworthy and helpful for understanding His will and work in the world. So, let’s pay attention, take notes, and make sure we personalize what He has for us today as we feast upon His word.
