Nursing Our Nursing degrees have been carefully designed to produce safe and effective nurses who embrace the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical practice. You will be introduced to a range of care settings to familiarise yourself with emerging patterns of care and allow you to choose a specialist area. Whichever specialist area you choose you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a range of healthcare settings such as hospitals, the voluntary sector and other health and social care organisations within Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. The Faculty of Health and Society has a purpose-built hospital ward where you can learn and develop your clinical skills prior to your placements. The new curriculum is based on the Nursing and Midwifery standards for education 2018.
