LOOK TO HITACHI FOR HIGH PURITY SPECTROSCOPIC ELECTRODES Hitachi's spectroscopic electrode contains practically no impurities when used in the normal methods of spectro-analysis. At Hitachi the entire production process is strictly controlled to assure product standardization. The result is a carbon widely acclaimed for purity and uniformity. Two types are available — Ultra Purity Grade and High Purity Grade. Ultra Purity Grade is Hitachi's highest purity and guaranteed. Even the minute particles are controlled. High Purity Grade is designed for conventional use. A restricted amount of minute particles are present. However, this grade

is of far greater purity than electrodes previously used and results in substantial savings. Hitachi offers a wide variety of electrodes and powders. Rods are available in the following diameters: 3mm, 5mm, 6.15mm, 8mm with lengths of 150mm and 305mm.
