Calling all moms and dads! BRavehearted boys is coming to FCCC on February 7 at 7pm You have heard of the powerful and fun Secret Keeper Girls Ministry, and we hosted them here last February. Well, get ready—with the same excellence, excitement, impact and fun Bravehearted Boys will be with us Friday, February 7, at 7pm for boys ages 5 to 12! Dad or mom, or dad AND mom can share in this wonderful evening of fun, faith and excitement with their boy(s) that will inspire them to live big and great for God. Doors open at 6:30pm. Cost is $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online through itickets.com, Information Center or the Church Office.

Crafting Sisters on Knitting Thursday, February 6 & March 6, at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall Ladies, join us for our monthly meeting of Crafting Sisters. Let’s learn something new together all while enjoying each others company. Do you have an interest in learning how to knit? On Thursday, February 6 & March 6 in the Fellowship Hall at 7pm, you can join other ladies for a few hours of fun and friendship while knitting. Whatever your skill level, beginner to expert, come be with us. For more details on Crafting Sisters contact Linda Schwed at 904-696-6193. Also, if you have other projects you are working on and need assistance with, feel free to bring to any of the Crafting Sisters meetings. Mrs. Schwed would be happy to assist you in answering any crafting questions!

Thank YOU! We also want to offer sincere thanks to those whom have given upscale items from your weddings or special events! Our Hospitality closet is overflowing with BLESSINGS! In fact, so much so that we are taking the week of February 17-22 to critique and reorganize items. If you would like to help during office hours and are physically able to lift or carry, please contact Angela Allen at 757-1861 or Pastor Andrea at 757-7641. We will be glad to schedule you! Or just show up any morning 9-11am!
Prayer/Café Bible Study & Chick Chat All ladies, you are invited to a casual café atmosphere, Bible Study and Chick Chat! When? Thursday, February 13, at 7pm at the Student Center Café of FCCC (Room 201, old Sanctuary.) Join us for iced coffee, hot coffee or tea or just plain water! Bring your Bible and be prepared to chat and get to know one another better as we learn together from the Word of God and each other. Prepare to worship with our Music Minister and Lead Pastor. You don't want to miss our ladies Bible studies the second Thursday of each month! March Ladies Event will be held Thursday, March 13, at 7pm
Moms & Tots Thursday, February 20 Thursday, March 27 Bring all your little ones, from birth to preschool age, for a time of fun on above dates at 10am in the Rainbow Room (#205). Valentine’s Banquet Friday, February 14, 2014 7:00pm Ladies, grab your man and secure a trustworthy baby sitter because you don’t want to miss this FCCC banquet! Singles, grab a date! Join us for a great evening of food, fellowship and fun. Our annual Valentine’s Banquet will be on Friday, February 14, starting at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall. This will be a catered event. Tickets are $10 per person and available when you sign-up at the Information Center. Deadline to sign-up is Wednesday, February 12. *If you are unable to obtain a babysitter, complimentary childcare will be available in the nursery for kids birth to 12. Light snacks will be provided. Ladies Ministry and Our Pastors 2014! Every church has a Women’s Ministry which is to align themselves with the vision/leadership of the Sr. Pastors. Traditionally, the Ladies Ministry of FCCC have taken the initiative to come alongside our pair of Lead Pastors in the following manner: -Prayer! When we are praying regularly for someone, our personal concern for their well-being will show in actions thereafter. Prayer is vital, especially for Pastor Perry and Pastor Andrea. -Saying Thanks! A simple way that we have done this over their 19 years as our pastoral pair has been through church-wide events honoring them (i.e. receptions, anniversaries or mile stones in their lives, etc.) Pastor appreciation is vital. -Service! Pastors are overjoyed to see people grow through serving in the ministry. Please use your gifts/talents in your local church. Growth Track is a great place to see where would be a good fit for you (personally). Service in creative teams is what we do! -Being a Friend! Our pastors left all behind to serve us in ministry. Ladies have come alongside them to help them both personally (with private concerns or emergencies) and professionally (helps in ministry). We also have invited them to be a part of our personal lives as well as church calendar activities! While they cannot accept every invitation, they are included as a part of everything going on and we are gracious about the fact that they cannot possibly attend every thing (allowing them to decline). Ladies Ministry is a friend to their Lead Pastors. Special thanks to everyone whom has been a blessing to our pastoral pair. 1 Thessalonions 5:11-13 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. We ask you to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.”
