HOW TO INSTALL GLOSSWOOD PREFINISHED LINING BOARDS

PREFINISHED LINING BOARDS
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Glosswood Prefinished Lining Boards for walls and ceilings come sealed on four sides in the colour of your choice for easy installation. Our boards can be fixed to existing walls and ceilings (level and in good condition), plus rafters, joists, trusses, wall framing and battens attached to masonry walls. No sanding, varnishing, painting or tricky carpentry work is needed.

BATTEN/SURFACE
VERTICAL PATTERN
Decide on a horizontal or vertical pattern, then measure up to determine how many timber lining boards you will need. Coverage of a 90mm board is 86mm; coverage of a 130mm board is 126mm. Please note recommended batten spacing for these boards is 450mm.
WALL/CEILING
Apply polyurethane adhesive to batten/surface.
Place first lining board on batten/surface with tongue facing outwards.
Nail through the protruding tongue on a 45-degree angle.
TIPS Ensure you check your progress to ensure a straight level surface.

6 Finish with a trim or moulding of your choice and remember to seal any cut/raw surfaces. Fix trims and mouldings with glue and secure at intervals with brad gun.

Cut boards to different lengths so that you stagger the ends and not be left with one straight line of endmatched boards. Seal the ends of each cut length to ensure best results and for warranty.
