Standoff Infrared Hyperspectral Imaging System The Telops Hyper-Cam™ is an advanced standoff hyperspectral imaging system. This remote sensing instrument combines high spatial, spectral and temporal resolution providing unmatched performance. This advanced sensor is a versatile tool for remote detection, identification and quantification applications and is ideal for field measurements.

By comparing a measured spectrum with the spectral signatures of known gases and solids, the constituents and properties of a target can be easily identified.

Hyper-Cam™ Key Benefits SPATIAL RESOLUTION AND IMAGING QUALITY

TEMPORAL RESOLUTION

The Hyper-Cam provides an excellent image quality with the 320 x 256 pixels focal plane array detector. The 6.4 x 5.1° field of view (FOV) can be easily modified using different telescopes.

Hyperspectral images are recorded at a frame rate ranging from several spectra per second to a few seconds depending on the acquisition parameters.

HIGH SPECTRAL RESOLUTION

OUTSTANDING SENSITIVITY AND ACCURACY

The Hyper-Cam offers the best spectral resolution available. It is user-selectable from 0.25cm-1 to 150 cm-1.

Low noise equivalent spectral radiance (NESR) combined with automated high efficiency calibration sources ensure excellent accuracy at all times.

The Hyper-Cam™ Product Line Covers the Entire Spectral Range HYPER-CAM MW (3-5 m)

HYPER-CAM LW (7.7-12 m)

The Hyper-Cam is ideal for the characterization of gases, smoke stacks, target signatures and objects warmer than ambient temperature.

The Hyper-Cam LW is typically used for the characterization of gaseous clouds and solid materials at ambient temperature.

HYPER-CAM MWE (1.5-5 m)

FAST VERSION

An extended spectral range can be reached with the Hyper-Cam MWE as it includes the short-wave region of the infrared spectrum. Typical applications include characterization of high-temperature events such as detonations and combustions.

The Hyper-Cam™ sensor data rate is remarkably fast, being only limited by the focal plane array output rate at a given spectral resolution. The MW and MWE are available in a "Fast" version that includes a high speed focal-plane array.
