Knowledge of RF/MW Technologies to radio circuit design level o
Understanding of radio architectures from VHF upwards

Understanding of LTE enterprise infrastructure, TETRA mobile radio and microwave backhaul solutions
o
Understanding of GaA’s, GaN & silicon technology to enable them to specify amplifiers, switches, filters & front end modules
•
Engineering / Electronics Degree or equivalent experience
•
Design IN experience
•
Successful track record in technical sales/FAE positions
•
Demonstrable experience of selling RF products
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•
Good commercial acumen.
•
Ability to build and maintain good internal and external relationships.
•
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
•
Self-motivated - enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
•
Accuracy and attention to detail.
•
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on an individual basis.

Scope of Responsibility: Responsible for the business development activities of the RF & Comms products within a geographical area of South UK, from technical design in to commercial account management
Purpose of the Job: •
To identify new customers, and grow the existing customer base within the territory to increase product sales in line with budgeted sales targets
•
To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
Main Duties & Accountabilities: •
Proactively identify new customers and target markets for product range
•
Follow-up and develop business leads with new and existing customers.
•
Achievement of monthly and annual sales/revenue, GPV and GM% targets and personal objectives.
•
Maintain a good understanding of Acal BFi franchised products and services and their potential applications and markets.
•
Attend regular meetings with Management to discuss progress to sales forecasts and activities to ensure objectives are being met.
•
Present and demonstrate to customers the benefits of Acal BFi products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc.
•
Keep up to date with product prices and market dynamics
•
Successfully negotiating, implementing, and managing contracts & winning orders to meet the customer & company’s expectations.
•
Maintaining up-to-date product and sales information on the company systems and other media.
•
Provide accurate and detailed feedback and reports on sales activities to Line Manager.
•
Attend internal and external training courses as necessary to ensure knowledge remains up-to-date.
•
Timely management of any administrative duties including: o
Planning & Organising work schedule and set up of appointments / visits.
o
Updating and maintaining database records.
o
Forecasting, monitoring, and evaluating sales figures for the region.
•
To participate in Exhibitions, Sales meetings, Business and other meetings as required.
•
To continually sharpen and improve selling skills through attendance at training sessions as agreed in discussion with Line Manager.
•
To ensure that all activities/tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy and the Quality / ISO system.
•
Any other relevant and reasonable duties that may be requested by management.
