Position Description Parkview’s Associate Worship and Arts Pastor will lead worship regularly at Parkview’s Central Campus, participate in the creation of worship services, and help train and disciple worship team members. General Staff Responsibilities  Demonstrate the qualifications of a spiritual leader as stated in I Timothy 3:1-7  Live out the mission and vision of Parkview, in accordance with the EFCA Statement of Faith  Establish and maintain healthy relationships with the Parkview staff team and elders  Balance ministry and family responsibilities  Contribute to staff meetings  Serve the needs of other pastors and ministry areas as needed Competencies  Discipleship: A proven track record of helping to grow musicians, technicians, and others serving and leading within worship arts deeper in the grace and knowledge of Christ.  Leadership: A heart for training and developing young leaders, both spiritually and musically (or technically).  Music Skills: Musical prowess vocally, Proficiency on an instrument (or instruments), ability to prepare musical charts or arrangements, ability to lead rehearsals efficiently, and the desire to grow volunteers in their skill areas.  Technical Skills: A working knowledge of audio, video, lighting and media systems and software (ProPresenter, Planning Center, Abelton Live and Mainstage, Finale/Sibelius, Logic, Cubase etc…) in order to lead technical volunteers and lead in technical innovation.  A passion for building community within the worship arts, throughout the church family and into the community at large.  A team player with strong communication skills.  Self-motivated and structured. Primary Responsibilities 1. Worship and Arts  Help coordinate weekly and seasonal service programming  Help facilitate Sunday morning service planning with preaching pastors and Worship and Arts staff  Lead worship services regularly at Parkview’s Central Campus  Weekly rehearse volunteers  Help chart and arrange music for weekly worship and special services  Assist in providing music for weddings, funerals, and other potential ministry needs  Assist other campuses and ministries as needed 2. Shepherding & Training  Help disciple and care for team members  Help develop the overall musicianship of Parkview’s Central Campus Direct Report Worship & Arts Pastor
